    Accompanied by a friend, I attended the Baton-Rouge Old Scott House, located on Progress Road in Scarborough. I had been to the Baton Rouge on other occasions in the past, plus had been to this location when it had been the Old Scott House. It was on a Sunday and we both went with a special I was completely unsatisfied. When we were seved our meal, which was a steak, the size was about the size of a hamburger patty, and the was no vegetable.The salad was fine, but we were not asked by the waitress how we wanted our steak done. I dine frequently, and the bill which was paid was a total of $122.04. In short I felt cheated and did not received the quality or the quantity that I had paid for. I will not blame the young girl who waited on our table as she was very young, had told us that she was nonly on the job for less than a month and I am always fair. I asked of a liter of dry wine, and wanted to know that the house wine was and was told by her that there was no house wine, wine was only sold by the glass. I asked where the Ontario wines were listed, and was advised that there was no Ontario wines.We had two glasses of wine each, from California. The special also included a desert, which was a chocolate creation, and was so sweet that we could not I could not eat it. My guest took hers home for her daughter and she could not finish it for the same reason. I don`t know who is running this location, but if there is a head office they are wrecking the reputation that has taken some time to build up. As I did not wish to cause a scene, I just left and let my feet do my talking as I won`t be back.
